PRE-LOVED
The global fashion industry creates significant environmental harm. It produces greenhouse gas emissions equivalent to 1.2 billion tonnes of CO2 per year – more than shipping and aviation combined. This thus makes it the largest contributor to carbon footprint as it constitutes 10% of total emissions.
Purchasing pre-loved items - whether they were worn or not - reduces the harm done to the planet. Actually, if we were to buy only 4 new items per year in the world, and purchase more second hand clothes and accessories, we´d significantly reduce the negative impact while still indulging in a strong interest: style.
